Far Cry 6 hints at Assassin’s Creed Universe Connection

Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 includes a number of fun Easter eggs hidden throughout the game, with some hints of a connection to the Assassin’s creed universe. The first item mentioned is an ancient spear that was “Once broken, repaired many times” which is certainly the Spear of Leonidas that Kassandra wielded in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The other item in the list is a “Pair of Hidden Ancient Leaves” who have the ability to be “Withdrawn and retracted from the gauntlets.” This Far Cry 6 Assassin’s creed Easter egg is a clear nod to the Hidden Blades, which were the signature weapons of the members of the Brotherhood of Assassins.

This is not the first time a Very far game has established a connection with the Assassin’s creed series, like Far cry 3 included Abstergo boxes in 2009. It would be interesting to see Ubisoft actually make the leap and include something substantial like usable Hidden Blades in a Very far game, which isn’t necessarily out of the realm of possibility when you consider the series’ penchant for over-the-top weapons like Far Cry 6’s Supreme. Link Far Cry 6 to the Assassin’s creed franchise opens a number of possibilities for the two pillars of Ubisoft, and it would be interesting if the developer offers a unique crossover game in the future.
